Fun Events Planned For Granite Run Mall Prior To Christmas
Eric Lindros/John LeClair autograph signing, ‘Makin Music’ event, and Wondergy’s ‘Cool Science’ event highlight the final week of 25 Days of Events & Entertainment.
Media, PA (December 14, 2011) – This holiday season has seen crowds return to the Granite Run Mall to shop, eat, and be entertained. Starting on November 30, the Madison Marquette managed property kicked off their 25 Days of Events & Entertainment with a different event or entertainment to be held each day through December 24. These series of events and entertainment have allowed many community groups, businesses, schools and associations to perform at the Mall to provide an exciting shopping experience and to also generate larger crowds for the tenants.
Customers have frequently commented on the improvements underway at the Mall such as improved lighting, painting, new signage, coupon books, and new stores and restaurants. “It has been great to see the extra energy from the increase in customers inside the Mall during this festive time of the year,” commented Marketing Director, Aubrey Proud. “We are looking forward to these upcoming events as a great opportunity to provide our customers with an entertaining shopping experience for the whole family.”
In the climatic final week of shopping before Christmas, the Granite Run Mall has three large events planned that should generate significant crowds and be fun for the whole family. The first highlighted event is the Eric Lindros & John LeClair autograph signing to benefit The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on Friday, December 16 from 6-8PM in Boscov’s Court. Due to the overwhelming response and the 6-8PM time constraint, 500 tickets will go on sale at 4PM on December 16 at the Granite Run Mall. Please note that tickets are limited to one (1) per person and that each ticket is $25.00 for both of the former Flyers autographs. It is recommended that those interested arrive earlier than 4PM to guarantee a position in line.
Another very popular event promises to be the Makin Music’ event scheduled for December 21 from 10-10:45AM in Boscov’s Court and this event is FREE to attend. The Makin Music’ founders will perform during this unique event and in addition, Makin Music’ has decided to raffle off a FREE Birthday Party valued at $175. The third exciting event happening at the Granite Run Mall will occur on December 22 from 1-2:30PM in Boscov’s Court, and feature the talented team members of Wondergy who will perform their ‘Cool Science’ demonstration. This event is also FREE to attend and the whole family will have fun learning about science through the team’s unique demonstrations.
